The annual Senior Christmas Luncheon really brought out the Christmas and Holiday Spirit in the Town of Cicero on Wednesday Dec. 13, 2023.
Seniors enjoyed a generous buffet, and dancing and entertainment provided by the band Rosie and the Rivets.
President Larry Dominick enjoyed taking pictures with each and every Senior who attended amidst the beautiful Christmas and Holiday decorations.
“Our Seniors are our most treasured community. They worked all their lives to make Cicero a better place and the Town of Cicero will never forget their sacrifices for our community,” President Dominick said.
“Not only do we offer the widest range of services to our Senior community, but we also offer a full schedule each month of activities and events to keep them active and healthy. I am very proud of what the Senior Department, Senior Center and all of our volunteers do for Seniors.”
The event was organized by Senior Director Diana Dominick and her staff and is only one part of the array of events that the Senior Center provides each month.

La Celebración Navideña para Personas Mayores llena de Alegría Festiva
El almuerzo navideño anual para personas mayores realmente sacó a relucir el espíritu navideño en la Ciudad de Cicero el miércoles 13 de diciembre de 2023.
Los adultos mayores disfrutaron de un generoso bufé, además de baile y entretenimiento proporcionado por la banda Rosie and the Rivets.
El presidente Larry Dominick disfrutó tomando fotografías con cada uno de los adultos mayores que asistieron entre las hermosas decoraciones navideñas.
“Nuestros adultos mayores son nuestro tesoro más preciado en la comunidad. Trabajaron toda su vida para hacer de Cicero un lugar mejor y el pueblo de Cicero nunca olvidará sus sacrificios por nuestra comunidad”, dijo el presidente Dominick.
“No solo ofrecemos la gama más amplia de servicios para nuestra comunidad de adultos mayores, sino que también tenemos un calendario completo cada mes con actividades y eventos para mantenerlos activos y saludables. Estoy muy orgulloso de lo que el Departamento de Personas Mayores, el Centro de Personas Mayores y todos nuestros voluntarios hacen por los adultos mayores”.
El evento fue organizado por la Directora de Personas Mayores, Diana Dominick, y su equipo, y es solo una parte del conjunto de eventos que el Centro de Personas Mayores ofrece cada mes.
