Cicero celebrates Three Kings holiday with families and children
The Town of Cicero held its first event of 2024 on Saturday, January 6th at the Cicero Stadium. The Three Wise Men visited the Town of Cicero bringing thousands of gifts. Families started lining up to celebrate around 4pm, the doors opened up at 5pm and the toys where handed out a little after 6pm.
Town President Larry Dominick and the Board of Trustees started off the year like they always do celebrating the rich culture of its residents. Trustee Victor Garcia brought together dozens of volunteers to make this event possible.
The Three Kings’ Day is meant for families to honor the Three Wise Men for bringing baby Jesus gifts after his birth. The Three Wise men today were excited to volunteer and take pictures with everyone at the stadium. Families were able to pick a toy from an array of toys and at the end receive end receive even more gifts.
All the Toys were donated by Toys for Tots.
Also attending was Cook County Commissioner Frank Aguilar and Cicero Trustee Blanca Vargas.
El municipio de Cicero llevó a cabo su primer evento del 2024 el sábado 6 de enero en el Estadio de Cicero. Los Tres Reyes Magos visitaron el municipio de Cicero llevando miles de regalos.
Las familias comenzaron a hacer fila para celebrar alrededor de las 4 p. m., las puertas se abrieron a las 5 p. m. y los juguetes fueron entregados un poco después de las 6 p. m.
