Town of Cicero honors Del Galdo Law Group 25th anniversary
Town President Larry Dominick and the Town of Cicero Board of Trustees on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, commemorated the 25th Anniversary of the Del Galdo Law Group LLC and its principle attorney Michael T. De Galdo.
The board unanimously approved a proclamation honoring Del Galdo for his nearly 20 years of service as the Town Attorney for the Town of Cicero and the celebration of the 25 years as a law firm.
President Dominick said that when he first met Del Galdo when he ran for Town President, he decided immediately that he would be his attorney and the attorney for the citizens of the community.
“He’s a very brilliant guy. I won the presidency in 05 that’s when I met Mike and five minutes after talking to him I decided he was the one for the town,” Town President Larry Dominick said.
“He’s done a great job and it’s an honor to have him here”.
Trustees saluted Del Galdo during the meeting and praised him for his legal counsel.
“Thank you Mike. You and the Del Galdo Law Group are the best,” said Town Supervisor Joe Virruso.
Del Galdo expressed his gratitude to the board for honoring his law firms 25th Anniversary and his legal service to the Town.
“I was 31 years old when I was appointed by President Dominick as town attorney in 2005 and almost 20 years later, I’m still having the time of my life,” Del Galdo said.
“It’s been an honor and a privilege to represent the town. I look forward to many more years of service and most importantly the friendships and extended family members I have made in the process I’m most grateful for. Thank you very much”.
PROCLAMATION IN HONOR OF THE DEL GALDO LAW GROUP
WHEREAS, the Del Galdo Law Group is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in June of 2024; and
WHEREAS, the Del Galdo Law Group has been the Town Attorney for the Town of Cicero, Illinois for many years; and
WHEREAS, Michael T. Del Galdo has worked tirelessly on behalf of the Town and its residents in his role as Town Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the Del Galdo Law Group has provided the Town with invaluable assistance with municipal law, policy making, litigation, labor and employment matters, economic development, real estate, land use, public financing, negotiating and drafting contracts and overall counseling; and
WHEREAS, since its inception, the Del Galdo Law Group has served over 300 clients and employed over 30 attorneys; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Cicero has greatly benefited from its work with the Del Galdo Law Group and looks forward to many more years of fruitful partnership; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, President Larry Dominick and the Board of Trustees of the Town hereby honor the 25th Anniversary of the Del Galdo Law Group and expression their gratitude to Michael T. Del Galdo and his law group for many years of service and dedication on behalf of the Town of Cicero;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be presented to Michael T. Del Galdo this 9th day of July, Tuesday, 2024.
La Ciudad de Cicero honra al Grupo de Abogados Del Galdo en su 25º aniversario
El Presidente de la Ciudad Larry Dominick y la Junta de Fideicomisarios de la Ciudad de Cicero el martes 9 de julio de 2024 conmemoraron el 25º aniversario del Grupo de Abogados Del Galdo LLC y de su principal abogado Michael T. Del Galdo.
La junta aprobó por unanimidad una proclamación en honor a Del Galdo por sus casi 20 años de servicio como Abogado de la Ciudad de Cicero y la celebración de los 25 años como bufete de abogados.
El Presidente Dominick dijo que cuando conoció a Del Galdo, mientras se postulaba para Presidente de la Ciudad, decidió inmediatamente que él sería su abogado y el abogado de los ciudadanos de la comunidad.
“Es un tipo muy brillante. Gané la presidencia en 2005, fue cuando conocí a Mike y cinco minutos después de hablar con él decidí que era el indicado para la ciudad,” dijo el Presidente de la Ciudad Larry Dominick.
“Ha hecho un gran trabajo y es un honor tenerlo aquí.”
Los fideicomisarios saludaron a Del Galdo durante la reunión y lo elogiaron por su asesoría legal.
“Gracias Mike. Tú y el Grupo de Abogados Del Galdo son los mejores,” dijo el Supervisor de la Ciudad Joe Virruso.
Del Galdo expresó su gratitud a la junta por honrar el 25º aniversario de su bufete y su servicio legal a la Ciudad.
“Tenía 31 años cuando fui designado por el Presidente Dominick como abogado de la ciudad en 2005 y casi 20 años después, sigo disfrutando cada momento,” dijo Del Galdo.
“Ha sido un honor y un privilegio representar a la ciudad. Espero con ansias muchos más años de servicio y, lo más importante, las amistades y los miembros de la familia extendida que he hecho en el proceso, por lo cual estoy muy agradecido. Muchas gracias.”

CONSIDERANDO que el Grupo de Abogados Del Galdo celebra su 25º aniversario en junio de 2024; y
CONSIDERANDO que el Grupo de Abogados Del Galdo ha sido el Abogado de la Ciudad de Cicero, Illinois durante muchos años; y
CONSIDERANDO que Michael T. Del Galdo ha trabajado incansablemente en nombre de la Ciudad y sus residentes en su papel de Abogado de la Ciudad; y
CONSIDERANDO que el Grupo de Abogados Del Galdo ha brindado a la Ciudad una asistencia invaluable en derecho municipal, formulación de políticas, litigios, asuntos laborales y de empleo, desarrollo económico, bienes raíces, uso de suelo, financiamiento público, negociación y redacción de contratos y asesoramiento general; y
CONSIDERANDO que desde su creación, el Grupo de Abogados Del Galdo ha atendido a más de 300 clientes y empleado a más de 30 abogados; y
CONSIDERANDO que la Ciudad de Cicero se ha beneficiado enormemente de su trabajo con el Grupo de Abogados Del Galdo y espera muchos más años de fructífera colaboración; y
POR LO TANTO, SE RESUELVE que el Presidente Larry Dominick y la Junta de Fideicomisarios de la Ciudad, por la presente, honran el 25º aniversario del Grupo de Abogados Del Galdo y expresan su gratitud a Michael T. Del Galdo y su grupo de abogados por muchos años de servicio y dedicación en nombre de la Ciudad de Cicero;
SE RESUELVE ADEMÁS que una copia de esta resolución sea presentada a Michael T. Del Galdo este martes 9 de julio de 2024.
