Cicero co-hosts Blue Mass to honor First Responders at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church
Town President Larry Dominick and the Town of Cicero Board Clerk Maria Punzo-Arias, Supervisor Joe Virruso, Assessor Emilio “Emo” Cundari, Collector Fran Reitz, and Trustees Victor Garcia, Bob Porod, John Cava and Blanca Vargas were proud to co-host with the Chicago Archdiocese a Blue Mass to honor First Responders and those who have given their lives in service to the safety of the public.
The Blue mass was held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 3010 S. 4th Avenue in Cicero on Thursday June 22.
The Blue Mass is a blessing for all Police Officers, Firefighters, and Emergency Medical Personnel in our communities. It was an opportunity to honor our fallen heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety of the public.
The main celebrant was Bishop Kevin M. Birmingham.
