Cicero 911 Dispatchers receive training on life saving protocols
The Town of Cicero’s 911 Dispatchers, who are so important to ensuring emergency calls are rapidly routed to emergency First Responders, have received training on new protocols, PowerPhone’s “Total Response” solution that will allow them to help individuals during the critical first few minutes of a medical emergency response.
This software enables our 911 Telecommunicators to provide lifesaving instructions over the phone quickly and efficiently to callers.
All our Telecommunicators were trained and certified in Emergency Medical Dispatch protocols.
While the medics are en route the Telecommunicators are the lifeline providing emergency medical instruction until they arrive.
The new Total Response” system will make this even more effective in helping individuals in need.
