Unity Junior High Honors Straight-A Students

Perfection is meant to be difficult to achieve. That’s why when a student receives perfect grades, even for a quarter, its an accomplishment worth celebrating.

Unity Junior High School recognized more than 400 students in 7th and 8th grades who have straight-A’s after the second quarter. The students were honored with a breakfast and special certificates from school administrators.

“We are extremely proud of all of our students who can take on a challenge and show their commitment to their education,” said Unity Principal Donata Heppner.

Unity is one of the largest junior high schools in the United States, hosting more than 3,000 students from Cicero. It is one of the schools that feeds into Morton High School District 201, which combines Berwyn and Cicero students.
