“We are honored to be able to express our support to the Cicero Police and all Police and first responders for putting their lives on the line each and everyday to protect our citizens,” said Town President Larry Dominick, a former veteran member of the Cicero Police and Deputy Police commander.

“We are excited to be able to get back to restoring our monthly events and celebrations and we hope the public will attend to show support for our police.”

The event will be held in the Courtyard between the Town of Cicero Municipal Building, at 4949 W. Cermak Road, and the Cicero Community Center, 2250 S. 49th Ave.

The program is organized each year by Town Special Events Director Patti Salerno in conjunction with the Cicero Police Commander Jerry Chlada and the Town of Cicero board including Clerk Maria Punzo-Arias, Supervisor Joe Virruso, Assessor Emilio Cundari, Collector Fran Reitz, and Trustees Victor Garcia, Bob Porod, John Cava and Blanca Vargas.

“This is one of our most popular events that we organize for the community and for families,” Salerno said. “We are very proud that we can organize it this year in the wake of the COVID pandemic which brought all of our programming to an abrupt halt.”
