With Christmas sweaters, dresses and ties proudly displayed, Cicero’s senior residents put on their dancing shoes and celebrated the Christmas season with the Annual Senior Christmas Party.
This year’s party was held on Dec. 14, and featured a tasty lunch, live music and raffles. The fun started with a traditional Hawaiian Hula dance, put together by the group of residents who have been dancing the hula together for several years.
“You can’t have Christmas in Cicero without this dinner,” said Town President Larry Dominick. “I have so much fun spending time with our long-term and long-lived residents. That’s one of the reasons why we want to ensure no other place in the metropolitan area can match the types of activities and services for our senior residents.”
Dominick made sure to thanks Susan Banks with Senior Activities and Ryan Chlada at Senior Services for putting together such a successful event.
