PRESIDENT LARRY DOMINICK ANNOUNCES CICERO CLEAN-UP WEEK 2020
We hope all Cicero families are staying healthy and practicing the social precautions laid out for us by the health experts in the State of Illinois. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we were unable to host our annual Keep Cicero Clean event this year, as large crowds are not acceptable in this phase of the crisis.
The Town of Cicero is moving forward with working toward keeping Cicero clean. We are urging all homeowners to participate in an opportunity to place trash items out in your alleys for pickup by the Public works Department for a one week period. We encourage all Cicero homeowners to take time to do a spring cleaning of your property and place the trash out for pickup with your regular trash in the alley. Additionally, please pickup around the parkways and lend a hand to a neighbor who may not be able to clean their property themselves.
Additional trash pickups will be scheduled in Cicero for the week of:
Monday, June 22, 2020 through Monday, June 29, 2020
Hopefully you will take advantage of this opportunity to help Keep Cicero Clean, and do your part in taking care of your property to make our town the best and cleanest it can be.

Esperamos que todas las familias de Cicero se mantengan saludables y practiquen las precauciones sociales establecidas por los expertos en salud del estado de Illinois. Debido a la pandemia de Coronavirus, no pudimos organizar nuestro evento anual “Keep Cicero Clean” este año, ya que grandes multitudes no son aceptables en esta fase de la crisis.
La ciudad de Cicero está avanzando en su trabajo para mantener limpio a Cicero. Instamos a todos los propietarios a participar en la oportunidad de depositar los artículos de basura en sus callejones para que el Departamento de Obras Públicas los recoja durante un período de una semana. Alentamos a todos los propietarios de Cicero a tomarse un tiempo para hacer una limpieza de primavera de su propiedad y depositar la basura para recogerla con su basura habitual en el callejón. Además, camine alrededor de las vías verdes y eche una mano a un vecino que tal vez no pueda limpiar su propiedad por sí mismo.
Se programarán recolecciones de basura adicionales en Cicero para la semana de:
Lunes 22 de junio del 2020 hasta el lunes 29 de junio del 2020
Esperamos que aproveche esta oportunidad para ayudar a mantener limpio a Cicero y haga su parte en el cuidado de su propiedad para hacer que nuestra ciudad sea la mejor y más limpia posible.
