The Town of Cicero will celebrate Polish Constitution Day at 11am on Wednesday, May 4, at the Cicero Community Center. The event will celebrate the Polish community in Cicero and commemorate the declaration of the May 3, 1791 Constitution, the first of its type in Europe.
Every year we recognize all of our various ethnic groups and salute their histories and cultures. We host events for Hispanics, African-Americans, Italian, Czechs, Greeks, Polish and Lithuanians, among many others.
These events commemorate the birthday of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.; Casimir Pulaski Day; the Houby Festival; Columbus Day; Cinco de Mayo; Mexican Independence Day; Puerto Rican, Lithuanian and Greek Independence days; and AmericanFest, celebrating American Independence Day, one of our largest events of the year.
