CICERO COVID-19 Update: For  12/04/20 and at the time of this report, per the Cook County Interactive Mapping System, 633 more Cicero residents received COVID tests.  There were 96 more COVID cases reported in Cicero.  The total cumulative cases in Cicero is now 8,928.
 
CICERO COVID TESTS:  As of 12/04/20 – 52,057 Cicero Residents have had COVID-19 tests.
CICERO RESIDENT COVID-19  DEATHS:  The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office shows that 137 Cicero residents have passed away from a COVID-19 related illness.
ILLINOIS  
The latest numbers reported statewide in Illinois on 12/04/20 are as follows: 10,526 new cases were reported today in Illinois for a total of 770,088 reported COVID-cases. There were 144 more deaths reported in Illinois for a total of 12,974 deaths.
RESIDENT COVID TESTING LOCATIONS:

HEALTH DEPARTMENT:  Cicero Health Department Director Sue Grazzini advises that the  Town of Cicero Health Department has tele-health service available.  Call the Health Department  at 708-656-3600 Extension 147, 148, or 149 for information. Dr. Licea is available remotely and in person Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1 PM  to 5 PM and Wednesday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Dr. Caterino is available for foot screenings. All residents must have their temperature taken and COVID-19 questionnaire completed prior to entering the Health Department Building. Masks must be worn by all to enter the building and social distancing must be maintained.
The Town of Cicero Health Clinic has now expanded their services.  We are now offering:
Immunizations for all ages – no appointment needed:
Monday and Wednesday – 8:30 am – 7:30 pm
Tuesday – 9 am – 6:30 pm
Thursday – 10 am – 7:30 pm
Parents should bring their immunization records, current ID, and insurance card.

CICERO COVID-19 Update: For  12/03/20 and at the time of this report, per the Cook County Interactive Mapping System, 320 more Cicero residents received COVID tests.  There were 86 more COVID cases reported in Cicero.  The total cumulative cases in Cicero is now 8,832.

 
CICERO COVID TESTS:  As of 12/03/20 – 51,424  Cicero Residents have had COVID-19 tests.
CICERO RESIDENT COVID-19  DEATHS:  The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office shows that 134 Cicero residents have passed away from a COVID-19 related illness.
ILLINOIS  
The latest numbers reported statewide in Illinois on 12/03/20 are as follows: 10,959 new cases were reported today in Illinois for a total of 759,562 reported COVID-cases. There were 191 more deaths reported in Illinois for a total of 12,830 deaths.

CICERO COVID-19 Update: For  12/02/20 and at the time of this report, per the Cook County Interactive Mapping System, 301 more Cicero residents received COVID tests.  There were 65 more COVID cases reported in Cicero.  The total cumulative cases in Cicero is now 8,746.

CICERO RESIDENT COVID-19  DEATHS:  The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office shows that 132 Cicero residents have passed away from a COVID-19 related illness.

The latest numbers reported statewide in Illinois on 12/02/20 are as follows: 9,757 new cases were reported today in Illinois for a total of 748,603 reported COVID-cases. There were 236 more deaths reported in Illinois for a total of 12,639 deaths.

CICERO COVID-19 Update: For  12/01/20 and at the time of this report, per the Cook County Interactive Mapping System, 312 more Cicero residents received COVID tests.  There were 41 more COVID cases reported in Cicero.  The total cumulative cases in Cicero is now 8,681.

The Cook County Department of Public Health does not report any COVID statistics on weekends,  as such, the following are three (3) day Cicero totals from 11/28/20, 11/29/20, and 11/30/20. 

 
CICERO COVID-19 Update: For  11/28/20, 11/29/20, and 11/30/20  and at the time of this report, per the Cook County Interactive Mapping System, 943 more Cicero residents received COVID tests.  There were 359 more COVID cases reported in Cicero.  The total cumulative cases in Cicero is now 8,640.

CICERO COVID-19 Update: For  11/20/20  and at the time of this report, per the Cook County Interactive Mapping System, 490 more Cicero residents received COVID tests.  There were 34 more COVID cases reported in Cicero.  The total cumulative cases in Cicero is now 7,663.

CICERO COVID-19 Update: For  11/19/20  and at the time of this report, per the Cook County Interactive Mapping System, 355 more Cicero residents received COVID tests.  There were 90 more COVID cases reported in Cicero.  The total cumulative cases in Cicero is now 7,629.

CICERO RESIDENT COVID-19  DEATHS:  The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office shows that 106 Cicero residents have passed away from a COVID-19 related illness.
ALDEN TOWN MANOR:  On 10/19/20, the EOC sent representatives from Cicero Fire, Cicero EMS, and the Cicero Health Department along with the IDPH to perform an inspection at Alden Town Manor.  There has been a recent outbreak of COVID at Alden.  Representatives from these agencies are assisting Alden Town Manor in the effort to alleviate future cases.

CICERO COVID-19 Update:  As of 8/18/20at the time of this report, per the Cook County Interactive Mapping System, there were 14 more COVID cases reported in Cicero.  The total cumulative cases in Cicero is now 3,760
CICERO RESIDENT COVID-19  DEATHS:  The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office shows that 81 Cicero residents have passed away from a COVID-19 related illness.
ILLINOIS – The latest numbers reported statewide in Illinois at the time of this memo are as follows: 1,740 new cases were reported today in Illinois for a total of 209,594 reported COVID- cases. 26  more deaths were reported in Illinois for a total of 7,782 deaths.

CICERO COVID-19 Update:  As of 8/5/20 at the time of this report, per the Cook County Interactive Mapping System, there were 25 more COVID cases reported in Cicero.
CICERO RESIDENT COVID-19  DEATHS:  The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office shows that 79 Cicero residents have passed away from a COVID-19 related illness.
ILLINOIS – The latest numbers reported statewide in Illinois at the time of this memo are as follows: 1,759 new cases in Illinois for a total of 186,471 reported COVID-19 cases. 28  more deaths were reported in Illinois for a total of 7,573 deaths.
RESIDENT COVID TESTING: Access Health Center located at 3040 South Cicero Avenue is open for COVID testing. Phone Number is 708-780-9777.  Tests are available by appointment only.
Drive Up and/or Walk Up Testing is also available at 34th Street and Laramie Avenue thru August 7th  from 9 AM to 5 PM.  On Thursday August 6th  testing will be available from 1 PM till 5 PM. 
There is no cost to be tested. Residents should bring their insurance card if they have one, but no one will be turned away for lack of insurance. Residents do need a phone number where they can be reached with their results.
Anyone can be tested. You do not have to be symptomatic or have been contact traced.
Those who have been involved in protests, demonstration, or other large gatherings and those who live in dense housing are particularly encouraged to attend.

Dr. Caterino is available for foot screenings. All residents must have their temperature taken and COVID-19 questionnaire completed prior to entering the Health Department Building. Masks must be worn by all to enter the building and social distancing must be maintained.
