It was a night of celebration, accomplishment and plenty of Girl Scout pride as Troop 56679 gathered at the Cicero Safety Town Park Pavilion for a special Court of Awards ceremony.

Surrounded by family, friends and troop leaders, the Girl Scouts were recognized for the hard work, dedication and growth they demonstrated throughout the year. Town President Larry Dominick and Safety Town Director Diana Dominick joined the girls and their families in celebrating their achievements.

The troop also expressed its appreciation to the Town of Cicero for providing the pavilion and continuing to support its activities.

“We’re proud of these young ladies and all they’ve accomplished,” President Dominick said. “Their hard work and dedication are a great example for our community.”

The ceremony was filled with proud moments as the girls received badges, patches and membership pins recognizing everything from new skills and accomplishments to their continued commitment to Girl Scouting.

The evening also featured a special presentation of the prestigious Bronze Award, along with the traditional Girl Scout Bridge Ceremony—a milestone that celebrates a Girl Scout’s transition into the next level of her journey.

Zafrina Camacho-Hernandez proudly bridged to Juniors, marking an exciting new chapter in her Girl Scout experience.

Sophia Cervantes and Victoria Camacho advanced to Cadettes and were also honored with the Bronze Award, recognizing their leadership, commitment and service.

“It’s wonderful to see these girls grow, learn and support one another,” Diana Dominick said. “We’re proud to celebrate this special moment with them.”

For these Girl Scouts, the evening was about much more than earning badges or advancing to the next level. It was a celebration of friendship, leadership, service and the confidence that comes from learning new skills, taking on challenges and giving back to others.

Troop leaders Marquitta, Jessica and Dolores congratulated all of the girls, praising their enthusiasm, dedication and hard work throughout the year.

As the ceremony came to a close, Troop 56679 celebrated not only how far these young Girl Scouts have come, but also the exciting adventures, new challenges and opportunities that await them in the year ahead.

La Tropa de Girl Scouts 56679 Celebra un Año de Crecimiento, Liderazgo y Logros

Fue una noche de celebración, logros y mucho orgullo de Girl Scouts, cuando la Tropa 56679 se reunió en el Pabellón del Parque Safety Town de Cicero para una ceremonia especial de Reconocimiento de Premios.

Rodeadas de familiares, amigos y líderes de la tropa, las Girl Scouts fueron reconocidas por el trabajo arduo, la dedicación y el crecimiento que demostraron durante todo el año. El Presidente del Municipio de Cicero, Larry Dominick, y la Directora de Safety Town, Diana Dominick, acompañaron a las niñas y sus familias para celebrar sus logros.

La tropa también expresó su agradecimiento al Municipio de Cicero por proporcionar el pabellón y continuar apoyando sus actividades.

“Estamos orgullosos de estas jóvenes y de todo lo que han logrado”, dijo el Presidente Dominick. “Su trabajo arduo y dedicación son un gran ejemplo para nuestra comunidad”.

La ceremonia estuvo llena de momentos de orgullo, mientras las niñas recibieron insignias, parches y pines de membresía que reconocen todo lo que han aprendido y logrado, así como su continuo compromiso con Girl Scouts.

La noche también incluyó una presentación especial del prestigioso Premio de Bronce, además de la tradicional Ceremonia de Puente de Girl Scouts, un momento importante que celebra la transición de una Girl Scout al siguiente nivel de su trayectoria.

Zafrina Camacho-Hernandez pasó con orgullo al nivel Junior, marcando el comienzo de un nuevo capítulo en su experiencia como Girl Scout.

Sophia Cervantes y Victoria Camacho avanzaron al nivel Cadette y también fueron reconocidas con el Premio de Bronce, en reconocimiento a su liderazgo, compromiso y servicio.

“Es maravilloso ver cómo estas niñas crecen, aprenden y se apoyan unas a otras”, dijo Diana Dominick. “Estamos orgullosos de celebrar este momento tan especial con ellas”.

Para estas Girl Scouts, la noche fue mucho más que recibir insignias o avanzar al siguiente nivel. Fue una celebración de la amistad, el liderazgo, el servicio y la confianza que nace al aprender nuevas habilidades, enfrentar desafíos y ayudar a los demás.

Las líderes de la tropa, Marquitta, Jessica y Dolores, felicitaron a todas las niñas y destacaron su entusiasmo, dedicación y trabajo arduo durante todo el año.

Al finalizar la ceremonia, la Tropa 56679 celebró no solo todo lo que estas jóvenes Girl Scouts han logrado, sino también en quiénes se están convirtiendo y las emocionantes aventuras, nuevos desafíos y oportunidades que les esperan durante el próximo año.
