The Department of Special Events is responsible for organizing and managing official Town-sponsored events that bring our community together and celebrate Cicero’s unique spirit. Our mission is to create memorable experiences that foster civic pride, encourage community engagement, and provide entertainment for residents of all ages.

We coordinate a wide variety of events throughout the year, including:

• Seasonal Festivals
• Town Ceremonies
• Holiday Celebrations
• Cultural Festivals & Parades
• Community Center Events

Our team handles everything from event planning and logistics to public safety coordination and volunteer outreach. Whether it’s a small community gathering or a large-scale celebration, the Department of Special Events is proud to help create opportunities for residents to connect, celebrate, and build lasting memories.
