The Department of Animal Welfare, Care & Control is responsible for protecting the health, safety, and well-being of both animals and residents in the Town of Cicero. Our team responds to animal-related concerns, promotes responsible pet ownership, and ensures the humane treatment of all animals in our community.
Animal Registry: All dogs and cats must be registered with the Town of Cicero. Registration is FREE for all pets of Cicero residents. The number of allowed pets in one household is five.
Please fill out the Pet Tag Application and take it to the Town Collector's Office along with your pet's rabies certificate.
Dog Parks: To walk your dogs in the Town of Cicero dog parks, you must have a Dog Park Permit on file with the Town Collector's Office. Fees are $20 for Residents, $5 for Senior Residents, $50 for Non-Residents, and $20 for Senior Non-Residents.
Pet Tags and Dog Park Permits expire on November 30th of each year.
