Cicero’s Father Daughter Dance features evening of family fun
More than 250 fathers and their daughters attended the annual Town of Cicero “Father Daughter Dance” on Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Cicero Community Center.
The fathers and their daughters were able to enjoy an evening of music, dance, entertainment and a dinner buffet provided by Town President Larry Dominick and the Town of Cicero Board of Trustees.
Each year, the Town hosts events that cater to Cicero families to strengthen the family bond and to help nuture young children in a strong and positive way.
“The bond between a father and his daughter or daughters is so important in strengthening the child’s drive to pursue education and a positive career,” said President Larry Dominick.
“This event tells each and every child that they are important not just to their families but to the community. Nothing is more inspiring than seeing a father dance with his daughter or daughters at the event.”
The event was hosted by the Town of Cicero Department of Special Events and Director Patti Sturdevant and the staff of the Cicero Community Center where the event was held.
Fathers and daughters posed together for photograph at several photo stations that offered different portrait backgrounds. They enjoyed music presented by the Town as well as a full dinner buffet.
