Warm weather and clear skies welcomed thousands of Cicero residents and visitors as they celebrated Mexican Independence Day. Morton College has expanded. After more than 30 years, the community college in Cicero added a new 15,000-square foot facility during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 18. The new facility includes five Learning Studios, an Allied Health classroom for the Early Childhood Education program, two Adult Education classrooms, plus spaces designated as student lounges or conference rooms.
