Morton Students Place Second In Computer Programming Competition

A team of Morton East students placed second in the Illinois Institute of Technology Raspberry Pi challenge for their smart backpack design. Cicero Police Raise Funds for Special Olympics

Throughout Illinois hundreds of children participate in a number of Special Olympics events. The sponsoring organization, Special Olympics Illinois, works hard to provide opportunities for athletes with developmental disabilities to compete in a variety of track-and-field events. Cicero residents, civic groups and other organizations canvassed town streets on May 13 to help in the annual Cicero Clean-Up Day event.
