The Seniors of Cicero enjoyed an afternoon filled with laughter, friendly competition and plenty of winning numbers during a special Bingo event held on Tuesday, August 4, at the Cicero Community Center.

From 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., seniors gathered together for an afternoon of Bingo as part of the Town of Cicero’s National Night Out celebrations. The gym was filled with excitement as participants listened closely for their numbers, celebrated each winner and enjoyed spending time with friends and fellow members of the community.

Adding to the fun, Town President Larry Dominick joined the seniors and helped call out Bingo numbers, bringing smiles and plenty of enthusiasm to the afternoon. With so many winners throughout the event, there was no shortage of excitement as participants proudly called out “Bingo!”

Senior Center Director Diana Dominick shared how special it was to see so many seniors enjoying themselves and coming together.

“Our seniors deserve opportunities to come together, have fun and enjoy each other’s company. Bingo is always a wonderful way to bring everyone together, and seeing all the smiles, laughter and excitement in the room made this afternoon truly special. We are proud to continue creating activities where our seniors can make memories, stay connected and feel at home in their community.”

President Larry Dominick also enjoyed being part of the celebration, taking a turn calling the numbers and joining in on the excitement.

“There is nothing better than seeing our seniors smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves. These events are about more than Bingo—they are about friendship, community and making sure our seniors know how much they are appreciated. I was happy to call out a few numbers and be part of the fun. With so many winners, it was a great afternoon for everyone!”

The Bingo event was a perfect example of the Town’s commitment to creating opportunities for seniors to socialize, stay active and enjoy time together. Between the friendly competition, numerous winners and plenty of laughter, everyone had a grand time.

For the Seniors of Cicero, it was an afternoon of Bingo—but more importantly, it was an afternoon of community, friendship and fun!

¡Bingo, Grandes Premios y Grandes Sonrisas para los Adultos Mayores de Cicero!

Los Adultos Mayores de Cicero disfrutaron de una tarde llena de risas, competencia amistosa y muchos números ganadores durante un evento especial de Bingo que se llevó a cabo el martes 4 de agosto en el Centro Comunitario de Cicero.

De 4:00 a 5:30 p.m., los adultos mayores se reunieron para disfrutar de una tarde de Bingo como parte de las celebraciones de “National Night Out” del Municipio de Cicero. El gimnasio estaba lleno de emoción mientras los participantes escuchaban atentamente cada número, celebraban a los ganadores y disfrutaban de pasar tiempo con sus amigos y otros miembros de la comunidad.

Para hacer la tarde aún más divertida, el Presidente del Municipio, Larry Dominick, se unió a los adultos mayores y ayudó a cantar los números del Bingo, provocando sonrisas y mucha emoción entre los participantes. Con tantos ganadores durante el evento, no faltó la alegría cada vez que alguien gritaba: “¡Bingo!”

La Directora del Centro para Adultos Mayores, Diana Dominick, compartió lo especial que fue ver a tantos adultos mayores disfrutando y reuniéndose para pasar un buen momento.

“Nuestros adultos mayores merecen oportunidades para reunirse, divertirse y disfrutar de la compañía de los demás. El Bingo siempre es una excelente manera de unir a todos, y ver tantas sonrisas, risas y emoción en el salón hizo que esta tarde fuera verdaderamente especial. Nos enorgullece continuar creando actividades donde nuestros adultos mayores puedan crear recuerdos, mantenerse conectados y sentirse como en casa dentro de su comunidad.”

El Presidente Larry Dominick también disfrutó de ser parte de la celebración, tomando su turno para cantar los números y compartiendo la emoción del juego con los participantes.

“No hay nada mejor que ver a nuestros adultos mayores sonriendo, riendo y disfrutando juntos. Estos eventos son mucho más que jugar Bingo; se tratan de amistad, comunidad y de asegurarnos de que nuestros adultos mayores sepan cuánto los apreciamos. Me dio mucho gusto cantar algunos de los números y ser parte de la diversión. Con tantos ganadores, fue una gran tarde para todos.”

El evento de Bingo fue un excelente ejemplo del compromiso del Municipio de crear oportunidades para que los adultos mayores socialicen, se mantengan activos y disfruten de tiempo juntos. Entre la competencia amistosa, los numerosos ganadores y muchas risas, todos disfrutaron de una tarde maravillosa.

Para los Adultos Mayores de Cicero, fue una tarde de Bingo, pero más importante aún, fue una tarde de comunidad, amistad y diversión.
