Waggin Tails Vaccination Clinic Continues Throughout the Year

Cicero’s Waggin’ Tails Animal Shelter has been hosting low-cost vaccination clinics for Cicero pets each month throughout the year. With the continued support of the town, the clinic continues to provide support for pet owners and will host its annual microchipping clinic on Aug. 30. The low cost options ensure the town’s animals are healthy and safe.

“The more pets we are able to vaccinate, the less likely we will see diseases like rabies infect our pets and create problems for our families,” said Erika Rosas, director of the shelter.

Last month’s vaccination event saw lines snake out of the shelter despite the rain, as owners sought to vaccinate their pets for $7 for one-year vaccines. The three-year treatment costs $21 and ferret vaccinations are $9.

The microchiping clinic at the end of August will cost $10 per pet and will help find pets if they stray from home.
